How to send this tracked email

Option A — Protonmail (easiest)

  1. Open Protonmail and compose a new message
  2. Write your message normally in Protonmail
  3. At the bottom, click the image icon (insert image)
  4. Select "URL" and paste this tracking pixel URL:

  1. The pixel will appear as a tiny dot — that's normal
  2. Send your email

Option B — Full HTML (Protonmail Bridge + Thunderbird)

  1. Install Protonmail Bridge on your computer
  2. Connect Thunderbird to your Protonmail account via Bridge
  3. In Thunderbird: compose new message
  4. Switch to HTML mode (View > Message Body As > HTML)
  5. Paste the tracked HTML from above
  6. Send

Option C — Command line

  1. Use the mint-token script to generate tokens, then send via SMTP
